Reveries of Solace loosely translates to daydreams
of peace. I have visualized this venture for fifteen
years, but it wasn't until five years when we were
blessed with our two daughters, Solis and Reverie,
that my fantasy was realized and I was inspired to
share my art with the world.
Each design begins with a single piece of unique
vintage that undergoes numerous painstaking
handcrafted processes that can take from days
to months to complete. I focus on using all
recycled materials coupled with distressing
techniques to bring forth an element of depth
and character that can not be replicated with new materials. This way each piece carries a bit of
it's own history marked with my own vision of
timeless whimsy while rescuing our precious
past!
Considering my love affair with vintage, a
sometimes maddening perfectionism, and a
slight obssession with the fantastical, I have
certainly found my niche and am happy to bring
to you, Reveries of Solace; Fantasy Couture!
